Can I Airdrop Notes from Mac to iPhone?

GOAL: To Airdrop a Note from my MacBook Pro to a friend's iPhone.

PROBLEM: Airdrop is not listed as an option when I click on my Share menu in the Notes MacApp. Am I missing something? It doesn't seem likely that Apple would leave something like this out (only allowing iOS products to Airdrop Notes), so please tell me there is a button somewhere to solve this problem.

When I click on the question mark, it includes a statement reading: "If an item is selected, but you don't see it in an app's Share menu, then you can't use that item to share that particular app." I'm hoping there is some kind of solution! Thank you for your help, Apple Community!!

My Systems Info as of 12/27/2015:
MacBook Pro - OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.2
